Configure an email account on Android 6 Marshmallow

Before anything else supposse that your domain is midominio123.com and that the email account you whish to configure is john@midominio123.com.

Note that you can also use this guide for Android 5 Lollipop, as the process is very similar.

1 - Add account

First step is to open your phone's Settings, then scroll down and click on Accounts. Once there click on Add Account and finally select Personal (IMAP).

2 - Write your email and password

Write your email address, then click on Next. Write the account's password and click again on Next.

3 - Incoming server settings

The suggested values are correct except Securuty Type field, where you must select SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates).

4 - Outgoing server settings

The suggested values are correct except Securuty Type field, where you must select SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates).

5 - Account options

You will be able to adjust some configuration settings but the suggested values are correct, so just click on Next. Finally verify that Your name field is correct and click on Next.

6 - Open email app

The account setup is done. Just open the email app and if you have more than one email account configured select the new account.
