How to create URL redirection from the Domain Panel

Our Domain Panel allows you to create an URL redirection that will redirect any visitor to your domain to any other URL you may configure.

For example, supposse that you own a domain called mylifeafter60.com and that you have a site on mylifeafter60.blogspot.com . You can create a redirection from mylifeafter60.com to your Blogspot site, this means that anyone visiting www.mylifeafter60.com will be redirected to your Blogspot site.

Caution!

If your domain is hosted on any of our Hosting o Reseller plans you should not follow this guide, as your site and email may stop working.

1 - Access the Domain Panel

Just follow instruccions of How to access the Domain Panel.

2 - Verify nameservers

To be able to follow these instructions your domain must use our Alternative nameservers (alt.guebs.com, alt2.guebs.com and alt3.guebs.com). Just check on the left column under DNS servers title, you should see something like:

If the domain is not using our Alternative nameservers, you can activate them following the How to modify your domain’s DNS servers guide.

3 - Click on Redirect Domain

Click on Redirect domain link.

4 - Create the URL redirection

Select URL or FRAME on field Type and write the destination URL on Destination URL. Then click on Send button.

5 - The result

Once created the redirection will be listed on the same page:
