How to enable AntiSpam filter from the Hosting Panel

From your hosting account's Hosting Panel you can enable and configure the AntiSpam filter for email in 3 different ways:

  1. Store all SPAM messages in the Spam folder of each email account
  2. Add the term ***SPAM*** to the subject of SPAM messages
  3. Disable the AntiSpam filter

On account creation the AntiSpam filter is disabled. Therefore, if you want to enable the AntiSpam filter you must choose between the first and the second option.

How to enable the AntiSpam filter

1 - Access your Hosting Panel

Follow instruccions of How to access your Hosting Panel to access your Hosting Panel.

2 - Click on Spam filter

Look for and click on Spam filter icon.

3 - Enable the flter

Answer to the What to do with the SPAM? question by choosing between Move it to the Spam folder or Add the word SPAM to the subject.

Choose the best AntiSpam mode for your needs

The hardest part of Spam filter activation is choosing the working mode that best suits your needs. We'll try to help you:

If you read the email using the Webmail

We recommend you to choose Move it to the Spam folder.

If you use a email client such as Outlook and you have it configured to use IMAP protocol

We recommend you to choose Move it to the Spam folder.

If you use a email client such as Outlook and you have it configured to use POP3 protocol

We recommend you to choose Add the word SPAM to the subject.

In this case you should create a mail filter on your email client software ( Outlook, Thunderbird, ... ) to move all messages with the word *** SPAM *** on its subject to a local folder.
