How to export a MySQL database using phpMyAdmin

This guide explains how to export the content of a MySQL database on SQL format.

Note: If the database is too big using phpMyAdmin could cause some issues, in that case try to export using the command line.

1 - Access your Hosting Panel

Just follow instruccions of How to access your Hosting Panel.

2 - Click on phpMyAdmin

Look for and click on phpMyAdmin icon.

3 - Select your database

Once you are inside phpMyAdmin look for the database on the left column and click on it's name.

4 - Access Export menu

Just click on Export tab.

5 - Submit the form

Just submit the form using the default values as they are usually good enough:

A SQL dump will be done and your browser will start to download it.
